My name is Alison Wiks and I am a fourth year education student studying elementary education (K-5). I am passionate about teaching and learning and I cannot wait to go out into the field as an educator. The purpose of this blog is to reflect on my own personal journey as a developing teacher, and voice my professional opinions about issues and topics within the education field. As of June 2012, I will have obtained my Bachelor of Education degree. I believe in life long learning, and due to this belief I have aspirations to further my education in the future.
