Improv: Dance Warm-Up:
One activity that I really enjoyed and that I think would be a fantastic addition to drama in the classroom is the improv dance warm-up. In this activity, two people partner up, and keeping their backs together, dance to the style chosen by an audience member or the teacher in a classroom. This warm-up is a great way for students to warm-up for any Drama in the classroom, and is a lot of fun as well. Here is an example of Tara and I attempting the dance-warm-up!
